Now you've written an award winning Subject Line, how do you maintain your customers interest in order for them to take further action? The marketing message is key in keeping your audience excited about the contents of your email, so they can make the decision to take a specific action. Remember if they have opened your email there is a level of interest, and if you follow these basic marketing message rules, you can help your customers take the next action that impacts your business.
POWER MOVES:
1. Know who your audience is, and figure out what problem they need solved related to your product or service. Create a message that shows how your business is the solution to that problem.
2. Create value by educating consumers who are prospective customers. Communicate how your product or service is unique, and why it's the better choice amongst the competition.
3. Convincing customers takes more than one attempt. Do not assume that one email marketing piece will get the phone ringing off the hook. Create a multiple email marketing campaign over a period of time, that reminds the customer of your product or service.
